Summary: A witch attacks a busload of people in Lewiston, Massachusetts and the Ghostbusters are offered a great deal of money to come help out even though it’s not a ghost.  Turns out Egon’s ancestor Eli Spengler was the one who contained the witch, Kestrel.  This explains why have the town is running around in masks that look like Egon’s face.
In honor of Egon's ancestor.

The Ghostbusters find the shattered half of the magic ball that Eli had used to contained the witch and her minions.  They also traced the witch to a private girls’ school.  After several attempts they are allowed in and it turns out the Head Mistress was the witch’s human host all along. The Ghostbusters have come up with an antidote but before they can use it the witch goes from the headmistress to Egon.
Finding the first half of the crystal ball.

Using Egon’s knowledge the witch located the half of the magic ball held by the Ghostbusters. With the half she already had Kestrel was going to use the sphere to contain all the people who were descended from her original jailers.  Ray splashes the antidote on Egon's body forcing  the witch to abandon it.  Now that Egon is recovered he uses the magic ball to contain the witch in her minions again.   The Ghostbusters chose to stay for the local festivities that they find confusing because of all the Egon masks flying around.
The witch thinks she is going to win that is when Ray throws the antidote.

My Take: Once again Egon has a bizarre body alteration!  He has been turned into a baby, a huge chicken, a ghost, and a demon.  Now we can add witch to the list!  Let’s not talk about the time he became Slimer, it’s a wonder why Vigo didn’t choose him.

                Now for my stray observations:
  • So how were Zedekiah and Eli related?
  • So how do they get such good looking masks? Magic?
  • Okay what prevented this from being a five is they idea that Peter and Egon could pass as teenage girls.
  • The JFK sounding bus driver was funny.
  •       Considering Eli was the only with a statue and the witch was chasing decedents does that mean all the people in the town are Egon’s distant relatives?
This was an entertaining episode.
