Summary:  The Ghostbusters are battling a ghost in at TV shop.  After they have captured it, in order to get out of paying his bill the shop owner offered the Ghostbusters a new state of the art TV.  Ray jumps on the offer on behalf of the team.  Little does he know something supernatural is in the TV.
With all the product destroyed I don't blame for trying to cut losses.

While Ray is staying up late watching TV he sees a program with the Ghostbusters in it.  It’s not the news, the picture is from a mission they have never been on.  In the program Ray is the only one wearing a raincoat and hat claiming he knows they will get soaked.  When the place they are in floods the video ends.  Ray wakes up the guys but they refuse to believe him.
What is seen on TV ...

The next day's mission is the one that was shown on TV, so the that night Ray tapes the next program of the future.  He shows it to the Ghostbusters.  In the program they are fighting ghost pirates.  It ends with the ship they are on going into a fog.  The Ghostbusters are then called to a dock to fight the pirate ship.  They go and its the same ship from the dream.  They catch the ghosts and nearly avoid getting hit by a tanker.
...comes true!

The next day the TV shows them on the roof with the television during a lighting storm.  When the lighting strikes and the words the end pop up.  Egon and Ray conclude that the ghost possessing the TV was a Water Elemental.  They try to it get down to the Containment Unit but the power goes out.  While backup generators insure no ghost will get out, but until they get power no ghost can go in.  On the roof they bring the TV and the creature leaves and is now massive.  Ray tells Peter to aim for the lighting rod, with that down the lighting strikes the creature destroying it.

Okay that is what the TV.

The next day Ray decides he is going to read a book with Slimer.

My Take: A very cool story.  The Ghostbusters get their own little window into the future and things don’t go as they expect.

                Now for my stray observations:

·         The Ghostbusters need to find a way to agree on who make billing decisions in the field.  This isn’t the first time people were able to weasel out their bill by appealing to the needs of one of their members.
·         Remember when the Ghostbusters didn’t even have a TV in their station?  That didn’t last.
·         That scene with the tanker was great.  Peter and Ray’s lack of basic nautical terms nearly got them killed however.
·         It was clear from the second adventure that they could alter the future they were shown, Ray didn’t get stuck in a bucket.

Sometimes magic crystal balls are more trouble than they are worth.
